Instructional Coach

job Description
The Instructional Coach is a Christ-centered educator responsible for supporting and equipping teachers to grow professionally and spiritually in their instructional practices. This individual partners with faculty to enhance teaching effectiveness, student engagement, and academic outcomes, ensuring all instruction reflects a biblical worldview. The Instructional Coach will work collaboratively with administrators and faculty to promote a culture of continuous improvement and Christlike excellence in the classroom.
requirements
- Must be a Christian and actively attend a local church.
- Bachelor’s Degree in teaching or relevant field.
- In depth knowledge of teaching methods.
- Experience working with children and students.
- Frequent walking, standing, stooping, and lifting of up to approximately 30
pounds may be required. - Full-time position Monday through Friday.
- Work day from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Desire to continue career improvement and travel if necessary.
- Attendance at Orientation, Open House preparations and event dates are mandatory.
- Report directly to the Chief of Academic Affairs and Head of School.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief of Academic Affairs or
Head of School.

- Support the philosophy and mission of Trinity Christian Academy.

Coaching & Mentoring
- Provide one-on-one and small group coaching to teachers to support effective planning, instruction, and assessment strategies.
- Model best instructional practices through co-teaching, classroom demonstration, and lesson modeling.
- Offer non-evaluative, constructive feedback to guide reflective
teaching and professional growth. - Support new teachers through onboarding and mentorship.
Professional Development
- Assist in the planning and delivery of professional development sessions that reflect research-based practices and biblical
principles. - Facilitate data-driven conversations to improve student achievement and promote teacher efficacy.
- Stay current with educational trends, instructional strategies, and spiritual development resources.
Curriculum & Assessment Support
- Partner with teachers and departments to align instruction with school-wide curriculum standards and biblical integration.
- Guide the use of formative and summative assessment data to inform instruction and improve learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Academic Dean to support curriculum development and instructional planning.
Spiritual Leadership
- Encourage and model Christlike character and servant leadership in all interactions with staff and students.
- Support teachers in implementing a biblical worldview across subjects and grade levels.
- Pray regularly with and for faculty and staff, offering spiritual encouragement and accountability.
- Attend training sessions, conferences and seminars to further your own education regarding technological and procedural changes in your field so that you can provide the information to your students.
